The Church, formerly Crook Central Methodist Church built in 1868, is a Grade II* listed building seating around 200, in the Crook Conservation Area and 100 yards from the Market Place - postcode DL15 8NH
As a Local Ecumenical Partnership, we are part of the West Durham Circuit of the Methodist Church and part of the County Durham Mission Partnership of the United Reformed Church.
We look to the resources and traditions of both our churches as we seek to work out what it means for us to live as followers of Jesus today, and play our part in God's continuing mission to the world and be a strong witness in our local community.
Through our coming together as a united church we have been given opportunities that we want to build on. In the spring of 2009 we opened refurbished premises, that are warm and comfortable and increasingly seen as a valuable resource for the wider community.
