Monthly Prayers (in small hall last Tuesday of the month) It would be good to welcome more people to this fellowship. If you hesitate to join in because you remember the old fashioned style of prayer meetings where everyone sits for half an hour, eyes tightly closed, and what seems to be the same people saying the same prayers each time, hopefully you will not find that happening at our Tuesday prayer fellowship. Everyone is encouraged to share concerns of local, national and international interest , and also to share good news. Often the actual "eyes closed prayer time" will be quite short but very focused, bringing our concerns and thanks to God. Our Circuit is calling everyone to a Heart for Prayer. Will you grasp this opportunity for heartfelt, prayerful fellowship ? P.S, You can be first in line for coffee at 10 a.m.

Dear Father we pray for Christine and Robert who play and encourage them to learn. We also pray for Mavis and those who work in the kitchen. We ask this in your name Amen Uniformed organisations (not during school holidays) Dear Lord, We give you grateful thanks that so many girls are members of the Guiding Units meeting at St Andrew's and also that each unit has a long waiting list. We pray especially for volunteers to come forward to help as leaders, so that Crook Guiding may continue allowing many more girls to experience the difference guiding opportunities can make in their lives, and the adults, themselves, to have the rich rewards of sharing their lives and talents. Amen
Bible Study Fellowship (meets fortnightly) ' Your word is a lamp to my feet' and a light to my path ' May your word dwell richly in us, speak to us in times of need, in times when we are dry and you seem far away. We pray that the words of the passages we study will stay with us, guide us through our daily lives, the difficult times and the joyous occasions. Bless each one as they read your word together in fellowship or at home in fellowship with you. Amen
